Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox received a scholarship to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. Lennox survived off an allowance for students, and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox, while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy about her performances in comparison to her peers. Then she began to consider other options. Lennox performed flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. She left the band before they appeared as a guest on I.T.V's Talent show New Faces. From 1977 to 1980, she was the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British pop group. This is where she first came across Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began to work for her debut album as a solo artist Diva that was released in 1992. It was a massive critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was Released in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. This is the companion album of her "Now I let the door open... artwork that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first independent album.
