JenniferJennifer was always hoping to be a multitasking celebrity. When she was a kid she enjoyed all kinds of genres of music, but she particularly enjoyed Afro-Caribbean styles like salsa merengue and bachata, and mainstream music , like pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Although she loved music, the film industry fascinated her as well. West Side Story (1961), Rita Moreno's musical that greatly influenced her and was her most significant influence. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer was also an entertainer, as well as a Catholic schoolgirl, attended eight years at Holy Family Catholic Primary School in The Bronx. After completing the four-year course at the school, she was able to graduate from Preston High School, an all-girls prep school. Jennifer is a gifted athlete who participated in track and fields and tennis in school, was an outstanding pupil. The Castle Hill neighbourhood was her house for most of her adult life. Jennifer left her home to live with her parents around the age of 18. Lopez was a lawyer at this time and also took dance classes at night.
